I've called about 4 times so far. Twice there was no answer , the third time I was put on hold for 20 min and no one got back to me , and the other time I was hung up on. They told me they would hold my mail, because my lock wouldn't be changed on my mailbox for a week. Since the mailman didn't get my notice until after he delivered a very important package I needed before my lock would be changed , they said they would pull the mail from my mailbox and have it held for me at the post office. After not being able to find out any info over the phone for about a week, I finally came in this morning and there was still nothing held for me. Very bad customer service .
I really don't understand anyone's negative reviews about this post office. I purposely avoid the Glen Burnie post office and drive the extra distance JUST to go to the Millersville location. I have been going there regularly for several years (I have a PO Box there, and I'm always mailing things too). I have gone at all times of the day, different days, etc, and have never once seen a "line of people" or slow service. Usually, it's a ghost town in there, maybe 1 or 2 people in line at the most. It's very clean, well-kept, and the workers actually show respect and have manners unlike the GB location. I will continue to go here for years to come. Thank you Millersville PO!
Our mail is late a lot but it is now 5:43 PM on a Saturday and we have not received our mail delivery. I checked with neighbors and no one has.
Horrible service. In just this past week I have received 3 other peoples mail in my box at my apartment complex. In the past (2) months I have had 3 packages lost and i am out $250. Had a package thrown at my door and the item inside shattered (which I heard in the house). Our area was transferred to Millersville and it has been nothing but problems. They use contractors to deliver our mail, who just dont give a damn. Right now I am trying to find another package that has mysteriously disappeared.
Absolutely one of the worst post offices I've had the displeasure of working with. They don't deliver packages to your door if you live in an apartment complex, nor do they even leave a notice at your door that the package was missed on delivery. Instead, they'll lazily leave it with your apartment leasing office without notification or they'll hold it at the post office until they send it back to the sender at cost to you. What is the point of the post office if they don't actually deliver my package to me and make me pick it up from their facility? This is just outright laziness. In addition to this, I've repeatedly had issues with this post office where I got my neighbor's mail in my mailbox, I get mail from people who haven't lived here in years, and just all kinds of issues. Were it a one time thing, I'd be more forgiving, but I've repeatedly had issues with this Post Office in the 3-4 years I've lived in Millersville now. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
