The Gutter Helmet product has not been effective for me. My yard has a significant number of trees that produces pollen. The pollen and creases in the Gutter Helmets causes significant debris to gather on my gutters after heavy rains every year. I call Harry Helmet to come out to clean the pollen off of the Gutter Helmet every year. However, they do not give a scheduled time (just say they will call me the day before service). However, they do not clean the gutters themselves so I have to have the outside of the gutters cleaned separately--which would have been less than having the leaves from the gutters every year.
VERY happy with our entire experience adding gutter helmets by Harry Helmet to our house--from the initial contact on the phone to our rep coming out to speak with us through installation. Installing this was a great value for us. The gutters are working perfectly in heavy downpours and with year-long leaves and debris coming down from our river birches. Terrific customer service and a first class product.
The Gutter Helmet workers came in, completed the work to our satisfaction and left without our needed to take time from work to get the Gutter Helmet installed. We even visited our house on our lunch break to find the work done. The price is reasonable when compared with comparable curved water-draining surface gutter cover systems.
Adjusted my gutters and screwed up the roofline. The roof tiles stick up in the air at the point they meet the gutter helmet system. Looks horrible. Perhaps leaf guard would be better
I had such a great experience getting Gutter Helmet installed. Everyone very pleasant to work with. Great Price and service. Thanks to this product I will never clean gutters again!
