I perform some periodic maintenance myself on my 1997 Honda Civic and 2004 Toyota Sequoia; like fluid flushes, tune ups, brake pads, tire rotations, and occasionally a valve check. After trying a few local shops I found Fletcher's. This is a great shop! Patient, honest, and flexible. They discovered a bent wheel on my Honda and accommodated me finding a used wheel, rather than requiring I buy a new one. I found a used wheel, they checked the shape, remounted my tire and installed it. They have also repacked CV joints rather than take the opportunity to charge me for a new one! I recommend them often and haven't gotten any negative feedback as a result.
Very disappointed and disturbed that after years of good, honest service, he has gotten greedy and lies flowed from his mouth like water whenever he opened it! First it was one story, then another. He would forget what lie he told me before! I spent several hundred dollars, truck was still broken. I took it to another shop where they fixed it in one day and told me the parts that Fletcher had installed were a waste of money! Don't take your car or truck here anymore! It isn't the same place it was in the 90's. It's now a ripoff shop with a ripoff artist running it! I related this experience to someone at the BBB who stated that Fletchers Auto Tune, Chesapeake Auto Techs(that's why he keeps switching names) is being sued in several cases! Don't take a chance with this place!
