My son started here a few months ago after several bad experiences with public education. I worried that this would be like a juvenile detention center, but it isn't at all. High Road has been a wonderful experience for us. My son's grades have improved, his behavior has improved, and best of all, he enjoys going to school. In fact, he loves school so much that he spontaneously says he misses it when he is on vacation. The only things I do not like about this school are the lack of PE and other cultural arts instruction, but certainly that is not High Road's fault as their building cannot accommodate these things (for example, they have no outside space).
The worst school ever they put there hands on children and some of the staff are botches yes I know it's spelled wrong
I have never liked the school system of being "on level", and it needs to change. This system is not preparing the students for their transition to another school or everyday life. As for academics, I feel that the students are not given work that is on their grade level. I feel if a student were to attend another school, they would be behind the curve.
